With almost 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas and Mining, Melanie has held various management and consulting positions in the industry focusing on finance, accounting, and IT systems. Melanie started her career at PwC in audit and assurance, and then moved to Deloitte focusing on tax.
Melanie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to her role on the Board, Melanie contributes as a Community Member on the Finance & Audit Committee for Calgary’s Women in Need Society (WINS).
Melanie has been an avid Calgary Phil fan for almost 20 years having started attending concerts as part of the Cpossibilties program.
