Amanda Forsyth
Canadian Juno Award-winning Amanda Forsyth is considered one of North America’s most dynamic cellists. She has achieved her international reputation as soloist, chamber musician and principal cellist of Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra from 1999 to 2015. The Juno Award-winning Canadian cellist performs Electra Rising, a deeply personal cello concerto written for and about her by her father, Malcolm Forsyth.

Maximilian Hornung conquers the international concert podiums with captivating musicality, instinctive stylistic confidence and an extraordinary musical maturity. He joins the CPO to perform Shostakovich’s towering Cello Concerto No. 1, in April 2020.
