Enjoy an evening of beautiful music, featuring Florence Price’s spiritually-inflected Andante Moderato, which opens the concert with tender warmth. Then, Clara Wieck Schumann’s exquisitely imaginative Piano Concerto is performed by extraordinary Canadian pianist Tony Siqi Yun who makes his Calgary Phil debut, and the evening ends with Robert Schumann’s Rhenish Symphony, inspired by his and Clara’s travels to Cologne through the Rhineland.
