Michelle Bailey is a Partner and the National Leader for Operations Transformation in Energy, Resources & Industrials for Deloitte Canada. She has more than 20 years of industry experience in operations and worked in various roles ranging from operations management, corporate strategy development, continuous improvement, and enterprise program management. Michelle has held numerous roles a proven track record of driving high performance and leading large cross functional teams to realize value; translating strategy into tactical operational plans that focus on sustainable improvements. 

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science from Acadia University and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University.  She is an active leader in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in her community and professional roles and holds a certificate in Indigenous Relations Leadership from the University of Calgary. 

Michelle is passionate about supporting the community and brings her experience from previously held board roles including Woods Homes and the CPO Ad Astra Capital Cabinet. She believes that music and the arts play a more important role than ever in shaping the identity of our communities; strengthening societal diversity and nurturing the wellness of our people.  

Michelle lives in Calgary with her husband, John, and their two children, Maeve and Liam and are all proud longtime supporters of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
