Endowed Chairs

Endowed Chairs

Calgary Phil’s Endowed Orchestra Chairs are an important means of providing support to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Donations to the Endowed Chair Program are split equally between the Calgary Philharmonic Society and the Calgary Philharmonic Foundation ensuring that the Orchestra continues to thrive both on an annual and long-term basis. The income generated from our Endowed Chair Program guarantees permanent funding to help finance the orchestra’s dreams, goals and objectives – raising the level of possibilities.

Donors who generously endow orchestra chairs know that they are not only ensuring musical excellence, but that theirs is a true gift to the present and the future. Endowed orchestra chairs are living memorials perpetuating the donors name, one that lives from one generation to the next. The program offers the donor, whether individual or family, the opportunity to endow a named chair that reflects their particular interest.
