Roberta Yee received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, where she studied with Martin Chalifour and Bing Wang. Roberta is a three-time participant of the Pacific Music Festival, where she was Concertmaster and Principal Second Violin under Valery Gergiev, and Principal Second Violin under Marek Janowski. She has also attended festivals including the Banff Centre Masterclasses for Strings & Winds, the Heifetz International Music Institute, the Castleman Quartet Program, and the Astona International Summer Music Academy. Roberta has been the recipient of awards including the USC Performance Science Award, the USC Christine Marie Ofiesh String Quartet Competition First Prize, and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada Award of Excellence.
