Get ready for the return of Beat Beethoven, now bigger and better than ever! For the seventh year running, Calgary Phil and Run Calgary team up to bring you an afternoon of music and movement!

Join us at Phil in the Park — a spectacular outdoor concert by the Orchestra at Prince’s Island! This family-friendly event in the heart of the city is perfect for the whole community. Grab your blankets and picnic baskets and get ready to enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of music. The concert is open to everyone and free with registration.

In addition to the performance, you can also take part in the Beat Beethoven run. Whether you choose to run, walk, or waltz, you can challenge yourself with a 4 km or 8 km course along the beautiful Bow River before the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra completes 50 minutes of Beethoven's best music. It's an exhilarating way to combine the thrill of physical activity with the joy of live orchestral music, all while raising funds for PhilKids — Calgary Phil's afterschool program designed to fuel and support the empowerment of children through the exploration of music. Once you complete the course, runners and walkers are invited to an elevated experience with wine and food while enjoying a performance by the Calgary Phil. Registration is required for the run. Sign up here.
