Experience the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus' Big Sing! Meet Chorus members, learn vocal warm-up techniques, and sing selections from choral blockbusters such as Handel's Messiah and Mahler's Symphony No. 2 as well as Oscar Peterson's Hymn to Freedom and Rosephanye Powell's Christus Natus Est. Led by Chorus director Dr. Mark Bartel, the workshop also features pianist Evan Mounce and Alberta poet Bertrand Bickersteth, who will present Unrecorded Blackness: The Historic Sound of Alberta's Jazz.

Participants will receive sheet music and 15% off tickets to Controlled Burn (15 March), The Lark Ascending (4 April), and French Impressions: Poulenc’s Organ Concerto (9 + 10 May).
