Alexandra Wang

Alexandra Wang is a member of the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus and serves as its representative on the Board. She is committed to bringing the choir’s perspective to support the orchestra’s mission of artistic excellence and community engagement.

Professionally, Alexandra has more than 10 years of experience in the energy industry in various technical and commercial leadership roles in Canada and abroad. Most recently, she was Global Strategy Implementation Manager in Shell’s Mobility business, where she honed the art of balancing global standards and strategic initiatives with local cultural contexts to achieve a unified vision.

Alexandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Mechatronics Engineering) from the University of British Columbia. Beyond her role on the board, she is passionate about giving back to the community and has been a long-time volunteer with Junior Achievement Canada. A devoted fan of the Calgary Phil ever since moving to the city, she can often be found in the audience with her family when she is not up in the choir loft.
