Monica Cheng is a lawyer at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and practises in all areas of income tax law with a focus on corporate tax planning. She routinely advises on corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and financings involving private and public corporations and private equity funds. Her practice includes both domestic and international tax matters in the oil and gas, renewable energy, technology, infrastructure, and retail sectors.
Monica received her BA and JD from the University of Calgary. She received her LLM (Tax Law) from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is excited to bring her passion for community engagement and the arts to the Board of the Calgary Philharmonic Society.
