The venue has accessibility ramps to accommodate your needs. Please let us know ahead of time if you require any accessibility seating.
How can I prepare my students?
Free classroom resources, such as study guides and recordings, are available online at calgaryphil.com/education.

Pick Up/Drop Off
School busses are permitted to drop students off in front of the Jack Singer Concert Hall on 8 Avenue SE provided that they do not park. Temporary access permits for Stephen Avenue will be distributed to the bus drivers for the purpose of dropping off and picking up students only. Please inform bus drivers that they are not permitted to wait on Macleod Trail to turn onto Stephen Avenue. The City requests that they circle the block until it is possible to turn safely without blocking the flow of traffic. We kindly ask that you print your school name on a large piece of paper and ask the driver to hang it in their window so that it is easy for you to see your bus arrive at time of pick up.
Please plan to arrive at the Jack Singer Concert Hall no later than 20 minutes prior to the concert start.
To ensure the greatest amount of enjoyment for all those in attendance please encourage proper concert etiquette for all students present. (i.e. If a student needs to use the washroom, please wait until an appropriate pause in the concert to escort them out.)
We encourage schools to vacate their seats in a timely manner, first congregating in the lobby space if necessary to regroup and then to exit to their busses.
Food and Snacks
The Jack Singer Concert Hall is not equipped with a cafeteria or lunchroom and no outside food or drink is allowed in the hall. With advanced approval, schools may sit as a group to eat a snack in the lobby before heading to their busses.
