The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation (CPOF) was formed under the Societies Act of Alberta in 1984 and is a non-profit organization. As a registered charity, its objectives are the administration and investment of donations and government grants received by it, for the benefit of the Calgary Philharmonic Society.
The CPOF remains the CPO’s largest single supporter, contributing $2,851,938 in the 2015/2016 Season. This contribution is up more than 90% from the 2014/2015 Season where the CPOF contributed $1,475,000.
Your donation to the CPO Foundation will be held in perpetuity to sustain the CPO. Thanks to generous gifts to the CPOF, the value of the Endowment Fund has increased from $800,000 at June 30, 2000 to over $32.5 million at June 30, 2016.
Donations made by November 30 are eligible for Matching Dollars from the Canada Cultural Investment Fund.
